1. Define the depth of wells and water sources
Understand the depth of the well, the diameter of the well, static water level, dynamic water level and the water source of the surge and other parameters, these parameters directly affect the selection of deep well pumps. For example, the diameter of the deep-well pump must be compatible with the diameter of the well body, headers and pump body parts of the diameter of the well body should be larger than the maximum diameter of the pump body 20 ~ 40mm, to ensure that the pump body up and down smoothly and reduce wear and tear.
2. Determine the required flow rate and head
Determine the required flow rate and head according to the water demand. The flow rate should be selected according to the well's water output, and the flow rate of the pump should be equal to or less than the water output when the water level of the well drops to half the depth of the well, in order to avoid strong pumping resulting in damage to the equipment and the well scrapped. The head should be determined according to the depth of the well water level drop and the head loss of the water pipeline, to ensure that the head of the selected pump is equal to or slightly greater than the total loss of pressure head in the process of water delivery.
3. Select the appropriate pump type and material
According to the well diameter and water quality to choose the right type of pump. Different types of pumps have certain requirements on the diameter of the well bore, and the maximum external dimensions of the pump should be smaller than the diameter of the well by 25~50mm. at the same time, according to the water quality, choose the appropriate pump body material, such as stainless steel, cast iron or high chrome alloy, to prevent corrosion and wear.
4. Matching motor power and head
According to the required flow, head and pump efficiency and other factors, select the appropriate motor power. Too much or too little motor power will affect the operating effect and service life of the pump. In addition, avoid high head pumps for low head pumping, so as not to cause excessive flow, reduced efficiency and other issues.
5. Focus on brand and after-sales service
Choose the brand with high popularity and good reputation, these brands usually have more reliable quality and better service system. At the same time, understand the manufacturer's after-sales service policy, including installation and commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and other aspects of the service to ensure that in the process of use can solve the problem in a timely manner to improve the reliability and service life of the equipment.
